If all you watched of the Masters television coverage is Sunday afternoon on Amen Corner, you would think the Augusta National Golf Club had water on every hole.
And you would be wrong.
Rae’s Creek named after early pioneer, John Rae, only flows across three holes on the Augusta National’s property.
A tributary of the creek, fronts the 13th green and fills the lake in front of the 15th and 16th holes.
But that’s it, that’s all the water on the entire golf course.
For a brief history of the infamous ribbon of water please listen to my latest podcast from the Masters along with the final update of Friday’s round.
