Talking Golf With The Golf Guy-Season 4 Episode 7 Friday At The Masters-Cabins

One of the many perks of membership at the Augusta National Golf Club is a place to stay for out-of-town members.

Located on the grounds of the golf course are ten “Cabins” for members and their guests to stay while they are visiting and playing the Club.

Although they are called “Cabins” they are anything but. Most are three stories with luxurious accommodations and multiple bedrooms and baths.

One of the largest is the Eisenhower Cabin, shown above. Built to Secret Service specifications for Dwight Eisenhower after he was elected president and used as the Little White House when the President was in attendance and playing golf.

Shown in this photo are some of the cabins with their balconies overlooking the par-3 course

Listen to my latest podcast as I describe their history along my latest update from the Augusta National Golf Club.
