In my latest episode, I sit down with Golf Digest Senior Writer, Guy Yocum, a Utah boy who got his start in golf at Salt Lake City’s Rose Park Golf Course and then left home for the bright lights of New York City.
As the song goes, “If you can make there, you can make it anywhere.”
And in a classic case of local boy makes good, Guy is now the established Dean of Golf Writers with hundred’s of published articles and features to his credit.
Also the author of seven books, Guy has co-authoring major titles with golf luminaries such as Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Jack Nicklaus, and Johnny Miller.
On the 70th Anniversary of Golf Digest initial publication, Guy sits down with the Golf Guy, PGA Master Professional Jeff Waters for an insightful and ranging conversation about his nearly forty-year career at Golf’s Seminal Magazine.
Guy is the also the creator behind the imaginative and pioneering work, My Shot, recently re-released in honor of Golf Digest’s Platinum Anniversary.
This best-selling work with 120 interviews so far, has re-defined sports journalism and introduced readers around the world to the in-depth and personal world of Sports Bright Lights, including many of Golf’s superstars and news makers.
Join Guy and the Golf Guy for this entertaining and informative conversation.
