He also undertakes the immense challenge of continuing The Utah State Amateur Championship, the longest continuous golf tournament in the history of the world.

Began in 1899, The State Championship has for 121 years been the premier tournament on the Utah Amateur schedule and Jake has gone on the national record that he will not be the person to break that streak in the midst of the COVID-19 Pandemic.
